At the most recent board meeting held on October 11, 2017, the board discussed and/or approved the following items:
- Calling of Annual Meeting for November 15, including documents to be sent to homeowners.
- Renewed our community insurance policy.
- Finalized the installation of holiday lighting to be in place by Diwali (10/19) and updated for Christmas.
- Adopted a Fine Policy (to be sent to all homeowners) to assist in the management of violations of our community rules and standards.
- Adopted the Sorano Architectural Design Standards to assist in the guidance and management of community requests for improvements through the community.
- Approved the use of a new communications tool – VOLO Village – to assist in enhancing the communication through the community by email and text messaging.
- Allocated a budget for the Diwali celebration to be held on October 22, 2017 in the community green space (see additional information on Facebook for details).
- Directed Spectrum to gather quotes for park benches for the community green space (this will be for discussion at a board meeting early in 2018).
The next board meeting will be set for December 2017 following the Annual Meeting, and the board will determine the meeting schedule for 2018 at this meeting.
